FA Cup Match Report: Albert Amoah bags brace as Asante Kotoko defeat Future Stars to progress to round of 32

Asante Kotoko progressed to the round of 32 of the ongoing Ghana FA Cup competition after a 2-0 victory over lower-tier side, Future Stars FC.

The Porcupines after returning to their Favourite Baba Yara Stadium posed a 2-0 victory courtesy brace from Albert Amoah.
The first goal came in the 65th minute when Amoah latched onto a through ball from midfielder Saaka and coolly slotted it past the Future Stars goalkeeper.
Asante Kotoko continued to dominate possession in the second half and doubled their lead in the 86th minute.

Amoah was once again the scorer, The forward struck the ball perfectly from outside the box and found the top left corner of the post.
Future Stars FC never gave up and continued to fight until the final whistle, but they were unable to find a way past the solid Kotoko defense.
The final score was 2-0 in favor of Asante Kotoko, who now advance to the next round of the FA Cup.
