Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara was embroiled in a heated exchange with journalists following Sunday’s goalless draw against Dreams FC at the Tuba AstroTurf.

The Phobians, seeking consecutive victories in their Matchday 7 clash, were held to a frustrating stalemate. Ouattara’s tactics were questioned during the post-match press conference, prompting a strong reaction.

“I am the coach, and I’m the one to decide. I don’t need your advice on what I can or cannot do,” Ouattara asserted. “You’re journalists; ask your questions, and I’ll respond. Don’t expect me to give the answer you want – I’m the coach, responsible for tomorrow’s match.”

Ouattara emphasized his authority, citing his contractual responsibility.

“I signed the contract, not you. I don’t follow commentary when making decisions,” he added.

The draw extended Hearts of Oak’s unbeaten run to five games, with two wins during that stretch. Dreams FC remains winless after seven matches.
