Bibiani Gold Stars coach Frimpong Manso is keeping his team’s feet on the ground despite their impressive start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Bibiani-based side has racked up four wins and three draws in their first seven matches, catapulting them to the top of the standings. However, Manso remains cautious, focusing on steady progress rather than the league title.

“We haven’t set a specific goal, but we aim to gain the most points possible from each game and finish the season in a respectable position,” Manso told Akoma FM.

Manso warned against premature expectations, citing the inexperience of many players in the Premier League.

“I don’t want to say we’ll win the league after seven games; that’s too much pressure. Most players are new to the Premier League, and lofty goals will overwhelm them,” he explained.

Manso emphasized that while winning the league isn’t the primary focus now, his team will seize the opportunity if it arises.

“We’re taking it one game at a time,” he concluded.

Bibiani Gold Stars’ next match will test their resolve as they navigate the competitive Ghanaian top flight.
